Facebook has acquired The find, an e-commerce search application. This news was confirmed earlier this Friday from both parties on their respective Web platforms.
The Find has released a statement saying "We are now starting our next chapter by combining forces
with Facebook to do even more for consumers. Facebook resources and platforms will give us the opportunity to scale our expertise in product sourcing to the over 1 billion people that use the platforms". 
The post further revealed that many of her employees will also be working with Facebook to further enhance the advertising section of the company.
Although Facebook is yet to Say anything concerning the cost and other details of the transactions, it is very certain that this new acquisition will further enhance e-commerce activities on the popular social network.
According to a statement from a Facebook spokesperson, the facebook team is excited to welcome The Find to their team and they believe they can work together to take the social network to a greater level.
