Glo wins 3 Awards at the Beacon of ICT Awards

Globacom Nigeria was given triple honors today at the Beacon of ICT Awards in the categories of Best Telecommunication of The year, Most Innovative Mobile Player of the Year and Under sea cable company of the year.

The 2014 Beacon of ICT Awards was held at the Eko Hotel and suites in Lagos, 


The organizers of the award, Communications week - A technology news publication has confirmed that an online poll has been organized since last December, 2013 till Ending of March, 2014 to get the right winners for the available categories.

According to Gloworld, the Giant telecommunication company has been voted for these awards for continually distinguishing itself as a leader in introducing innovative voice and data services in the industry, owning (Glo 1), the major bandwidth provider in the west Africa sub-region, her revolutionary role in the industry by continually ensuring that Nigerians benefit from technological advances and crashing telecom service tariffs. But to that i'd say good work globacom, Congratulations as well but try to win more awards from we the users as well by trying to crash the cost of data plans for non-blackberry devices and also create tariff plans with NO high tariff at the first minute.
